• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of user-generated content.

Roomatos offers tools to help users connect, but we do not guarantee compatibility, outcomes, or successful matches. Any decisions you make based on information found through the Service are your responsibility.

• We do not guarantee that a user is who they claim to be.
• We do not guarantee the condition, legality, or availability of any property or listing.
• Any agreements (rent splits, house rules, deposits, contracts) are made between users, not Roomatos.

Shared living is personal and important. Use your best judgment and take precautions when communicating with others.

• Meet in public places before meeting at a residence.
• Never send money before verifying identity and property details.
• Use video calls and request documentation when appropriate.
• Trust your instincts and discontinue contact if something feels off.

You agree not to use the Service in ways that are illegal, harmful, or disruptive.

• Harassment, threats, hate speech, discrimination, or exploitation.
• Fraud, scams, phishing, impersonation, or misleading information.
• Attempting to bypass security, scrape data, or reverse engineer the Service.
• Posting illegal content or encouraging illegal activity.

If Roomatos offers paid features (now or in the future), the terms below apply unless stated otherwise at purchase.

• Prices and features will be displayed before you purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled, if applicable.
• Payments are generally non-refundable unless required by law.
• We may change pricing or plans with notice where legally required.

You can stop using Roomatos at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if necessary for safety, legal compliance, or Terms enforcement.

• We may remove content or restrict features if you violate these Terms.
• We may suspend accounts to investigate suspected fraud or abuse.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roomatos is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and we do not take responsibility for disputes or outcomes between users.

• User disputes, roommate conflicts, property issues, or landlord matters.
• Loss of money due to scams, misrepresentation, or third-party actions.
• Personal injury or harm arising from user interactions.
